Jeffrey S. Yablon M.D. is a board certified neurosurgeon who practiced in Pennsylvania and North Carolina for 25 years before relocating to Northern California. He was a full-time faculty member in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UCSF Medical Center and held the position of Medical Director of the newly established Peggy Hermann Center for the Neurosciences at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, California. His practice encompassed the latest and most minimally invasive neurosurgical techniques. Dr. Yablon's goal was to bring the world-class neurosurgical expertise of UCSF to the North Bay area.

After graduating from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, PA, he went on to further his education obtaining a medical degree at Hahnemann Medical School in Philadelphia, PA. His post-graduate training and fellowship appointments included the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Tufts-New England Medical Center, and Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.

Dr. Yablon recently has held faculty appointments at The Chester County Hospital, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Temple University Hospital, Hahnemann University Hospital, and St. Francis Medical Center. He served as Clinical Assistant Professor at both Temple University and Drexel University. Dr. Yablon is licensed in Delaware, North Carolina, and California.

His memberships in professional and scientific societies include the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Pennsylvania Neurosurgical Society. Dr. Yablon is also a Fellow of the Philadelphia College of Medicine, the country's oldest medical society.

He has held numerous positions on academic committees at The Chester County Hospital, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, and Brandywine Hospital. He has recently been active in the Ethics Committee at The Chester County Hospital and the O.R. Committee at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Yablon is currently a member of the Queen of the Valley operating room oversite committee as well as the Sugery Department advisory committee.

Dr. Yablon performs lectures by invitation. He has been published in multiple medical journals. He is the author of the novel, Eight Cases. Dr. Yablon also holds a U.S. patent for his original and novel back treatment machine called "Portable Therapeutic Device", which is currently being manufactured by Victory Direct and is to be marketed as TheraBack.
